Laura Komaromi

Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapist


Hi, I’m Laura Komaromi, a London-based certified hypnotherapist with a background in Criminology and Psychology from London Metropolitan University. I’ve always been fascinated by the mind—how we process experiences and the different ways we can learn to handle life's challenges.


I trained at the UK College of Hypnosis & Hypnotherapy, specializing in Cognitive Behavioural Hypnotherapy (CBH), which combines techniques from CBT and hypnotherapy to support people in making real, lasting changes. This approach is highly effective for treating a range of challenges, including anxiety, anger management, stress, and building self-confidence.


One area I’m particularly passionate about is helping people overcome aquaphobia, or the fear of water. As a swimming instructor since 2019, I’ve seen first hand how limiting this fear can be for some, and I know how empowering it is to help someone move past it. Using CBH, I work with clients both in and out of the water, building their confidence step-by-step with a tailored, supportive approach.
